“Brevity is the soul of wit”

—Polonius (muttered under his breath after Laertes ripped a wet one and followed it up by shouting, “THAT’S WHAT SHE SAYETH” and asking Polonius to “jab dat fist like a terrorist”)

N3F4RIOU5 accepts original submissions of poetry, prose, or other literature.  Please send submissions as a plain e-mail (no attachments) to submissions@N3F4RIOU5.org along with the following information:

  1. Name you wish to be credited under
  2. Category/style of work

We only publish items under pseudonyms, so please have a good one ready.  Unfortunately, we are unable to link to your website, post your e-mail address, or do anything other than credit your authorship of the work.

Please try to submit items that are appropriate for the tone and content of this site.  Read through some entries to get a feel for what we do.  Irreverence is appreciated, crude sarcasm is not, but ultimately there is no hard and fast “rule” about this.  If your writing sucks, prepare to be mocked.  If it sucks on purpose…well, it’s at least a step in the right direction.

We don’t allow comments. It’s not worth it.  If you would like to comment on a published item, please take the time to compose a nice piece of poetry or prose in response and send it to the address above.  Make sure you include the title of the work you are commenting on.

Again, there are no strict rules about this, but we’re more likely to consider something clever more than something that quotes Scripture.  Selected comments will be published enthusiastically.  Others will be scorned, ignored, or possibly even published out of spite.

We cannot guarantee that any submissions will be published.  All submissions remain the full property of the creator.  By submitting a comment or original work to us, you agree to allow us to publish and display the work in perpetuity and at our discretion.

All other questions, comments, and what-have-yous should be directed to comments@N3F4RIOU5.org.
